Other examples of this kind of thing (in different genres etc...) human, beautiful, haunting, confessional etc... songs which the artists' beauty and redemption comes through beyond just being "sad" etc... (and while most of these ARE songs by individuals who have passed away but I dont think that's essential to the conversation, though it is a part of it, as the songs stand on their own) and these are no doubt "songs that have changed my life" ;)
