The bottom line is that the extremes of both right and left serve to only divide. They either radicalize people in favor of their side by preaching to the choir and setting up and echo chamber, OR they serve to make somebody so repulsed by the ideals that they surround themselves with the polar opposite. Neither extreme side is healthy and admitting to oneself that a blend of political ideology with respect to a diverse and varied nation. Somebody has to admit that certain things are a drop in the bucket and others are more major. Somebody wants to be called specific pronouns? Who cares? Doesn’t negatively affect me. Somebody thinks all CIS gendered white men should be banned from the movies during the early afternoon? Now we have grounds for debate. It’s about give and take. And you can’t only ever take.
