also in accordance with international treaties, slovakia has no obligation to take anyone, who hasnt entered slovakia via ukrainian border (only few dozen afghans came through it), as in those cases it is the country of first entrance to eu. problem is hungary, italy, greece, bulgary are country of first entrance to eu for most of the migrants. so they have to run their asylum proceedings.

the issue is there are only about 500k migrants from syria in eu, but there are countless others from africa coming and these are not refugees but economic migrants. as other posters have said, we can take them in, but they will just run away to germany and france to live there. sure they wont get social support there (60eur a month in slovakia btw), but they will go and do crime in west. unless schengen gets closed.

slovakian pm is a leftist populist but he is really good at it. the right wingers are literally delusional nwo puppets, even tough 4 out of 5 parties are of "christian" origin, they are just splintering into even more parties, or bickering with each other. with hard stand against migrants the leftist pm has basically majority and the only way he doesnt get it, is when a nationalist party comes into parliament, who will become his government partner
