This slow police, trying to keep up with the "dont quarantine my beach" runner

The hardest part for me was always the first few minutes before you warm up, running uphill, or when I was increasing the time/distance. The biggest enjoyment I got when I was used to running 4-5k every morning. Once my body warmed up, my breathing was regular and when I didn’t try to push myself I was genuinely enjoying it! It really felt so good! I can’t remember exactly how long this took, maybe 3 months? I started from absolute zero and I ran every day.

Your mindest can help a lot to get through the hard times. Personally I was naturally driven to push myself, so even if a run was all pain I always felt happy afterwards, especially if I finished a run without stopping or had a new personal record. Knowing that sometimes is the only way to keep going lol. It also helped me to be stubborn and even when my my mind was begging me to stop I would just continue to move my legs. I’m not sure either how I pulled it off sometimes.
