Small dogs (20lb) on the big dog side of the park. Am I irresponsible?

Her dog is not aggressive- just big and clumsy as a puppy. I wasn’t offended by his play actually. My girl can take it for the most part. She’s very athletic and can turn incredibly fast.

I was upset because the woman declared that she wasn’t responsible if her dog injured mine without my saying anything to her about the play.

She was pushing that my dog shouldn’t be on that side at all when I didn’t interact with her or her dog. A completely separate owner of an Aussie was the one who tried to intervene.

I still think she was rude even if she may have technically been right.

Nora has been around other giant, clumsy puppies and when they’re too much for any dog, the owners in the past have typically reigned them in just as you would with any dog.

Most of the owners at this park (pass required) are attentive and good dog owners. It’s rare to have any issues.
