I used to work with a big crowd of women in a factory and every break time all they were on about was the soaps on tv. I don't know how many times I got asked if I watched them and I was like 'no I don't watch any tv, I don't even turn it on' and they're like 'oooh you weirdo, how can you not watch tv? So me being me I would say 'well even if I did watch tv I wouldn't watch soaps' I was double weirdo for that.

It was all said in fun but I used to think 'hmm who's the weirdo here? 50 women all discussing a fictional town and pretend people and getting so involved to the point of crying sometimes and having massive indepth conversation about what might happen next time and it was almost like all the characters were their actual extended family somehow, or me, lol
