Where did you address my statements about the release of information about spying on foreign governments?

Where do you address the fact that we never get to see the evidence?

Where do you address the fact that we keep getting statements like the NSA is recording everyone's internet traffic and phone calls, which is not only unsupported by the evidence, it's also not fucking possible.

Where do you actually address the fact that from the very beginning of this leak, every single story in every single paper says 'Edward Snowden says ...'?

Where do you address the fact that he never actually had to identify himself in the first place and that doing do has harmed the story?

Where do you address the fact that every month like clockwork there is a story about snowden, even if there's nothing new, like this story?

Where do you actually prove that a damned thing is better in real terms than before the leaks?

How for that matter do the recent stories even make any sense? What is he expecting when he asks for a fair trial? Does he expect the US government to say 'Well we were going to railroad you, but since you asked nicely we'll give you a fair trial.'? What the hell does he think a fair trial will achieve? He's guilty. He's admitted that. Even if the law supported a whistleblower exemption he'd still be guilty, and it doesn't. What is it supposed to accomplish?

Snowden wants attention. That's crystal clear and has been from the second he released the first leak. He's got weak evidence, that's crystal clear because if he didn't we'd get to actually see some of it. It sure doesn't help that the journalist he chose and his lawyer are even bigger narcissists than he is, but it's him giving interviews and playing stupid word games with the administration. It's him making claims his evidence doesn't support, and it's him who despite completely controlling when the information was released ended up in China and then Russia.

I want to actually see what's going on. I want to see who if anyone has actually been hacked, and how. I want to know what information is being collected and whose information it is. I want more than a PowerPoint presentation that I don't even get to see.

I'm also sick to fucking tears of people who supposedly believed in their cause enough to break the law being unwilling to pay the price.
