we got male (tan) when he was 7 weeks old, this was june. by december we decided we were ready for another! he was still so young (about 7 months) when we brought home a female (black) and she was about 3 months old. they have EXTREMELY different personalities, my male could be considered a tiny bit aggressive as well and very territorial when it comes to treats/sharing bones and toys, where our female is so sweet and dependent on him and us so they are great at balancing each other out!! they share a big cage anytime we aren’t home and we always find them cuddling up to each other, 90% of the time they play and play fight and when felix starts to get aggressive i just intervene and distract and they will go about whatever they were doing!! i could never imagine my shibes not having each other, they are truly like brother and sister, they fight and pick but at the end of the day they really love each other! it’s worth it even with a bit of an “independent” shibe!!
