Fuck I'm late, I've got a nice topic to rant about.
Despite what you may think...I fucking hate 99% of "internet culture". I've got like 20 friends on facebook because I unfriended people every time they posted a meme. Sometimes the memes are ok, honestly, Pepe was a masterpiece, but everything else is really fucking annoying. Filthy Frank isn't funny, twitch is the worst place on the internet and 4:20 is just a shit meme that needs to die. The worst memes were 'lol this dude skips legs day'. Shut the fuck up you fat fuck if someone loves doing curls then more power too them. Maybe I'm biased because the people I've mostly hung out with for the last 3 years just latch onto whatever fucking meme was hot for months unend and ran it into the ground to make up for the fact that the had no personallity of their own. Skyrim is really a great game and I don't really like video games that much, but "hawhawhaw nord nord nord arrow to le knee" just gets on my fucking nerves. Oh fuck, League of Legends. Personally I've never played but the "community" just seems so toxic. Another retarded internet thing is redditors who are famous on the site because they have lots of karma. Also, people arguing and getting so serious about fat people complainging on the internet about not being accepted, why do you give a shit? similarly with feminism. I've literally never met one of these evil tumblerellas in real life. Crazy lard asses exist but they aren't an actual threat to anything because they are lazy fucks with no jobs, so stop giving a fuck and ranting on reddit about them. The worst aspect of mainstream reddit/youtube culture is the repetitiveness of it all. Everyone had the exact same really really extreme opinions on these internet 'issues' and they take it way way way too seriously (I know this rant is ironic because of that). Internet culture is even worse because the media and world outside the internet are catching onto it, puns can be funny in the right context, but forcing memes into shit isn't...
The worst part is that I embodied everything I hate now when I was 14/15/16. The internet made me blind to the fact that I wasnt an interesting person and it somehow made me think I'm better than everyone while simulatiously giving me low self esteem. I had nothing to look forward to so I wasted literally 3+ hours a day on the internet looking at memes or debating shit on reddit. I basically spent all of 2013 and 2014 going to school and hanging around with people who didn't respect me, playing skyrim and then going on reddit, so it pisses me off that I still get facefucked by shit on the youtube comments that reminds me of it, people have been arguing and circlejerking about the same stupid shit for years. Fuck the internet, I wish I hadn't found out about reddit.
CMD is different because it is a positive place and it is original, I dont close CMD and then get recommended youtube videos about nenes and cates, it's refreshing. CMD only has 5 posts a day so I can't waste hours on it even if I had nothing better to do.
