SOBER REVIEW TIME - what are the actual data we can use to assess GME as of today?

I liked this writeup. After the big bust I sold a couple shares to peel off my original investment when it rebounded, and felt like it was worth riding a little longer with house money for the "what if". Eventually I took off another few at $120/ea and let the rest of the day play out. I think I'm ready to close out entirely now. Not an amazing gain, but honestly for how few shares I was able to get, a few hundred dollars for watching a line go up and down is good enough.

WSB is an approachable place to get your ideas reamed for quality assurance, but its not a primary source. Or, it shouldn't be; I bought because I saw an interesting post that must have been on All or something, late Jan, and it could have gone much worse; I'm lucky that it didn't. The hype was cool, the ride was fun, and it's definitely gotten me interested in learning more. I'm not convinced these hearings coming up will have any net benefit to retail traders, because it's likely they're primarily going to consist of the same people who don't think retail trading should be a thing (except to generate bag-holders, and even then it's probably easier and jucier if they're lumped into retirement funds).

Anyway, I've been part time at work since March; maybe I'll get into some financial ed. reading for the "long weekends" instead of just painting plastic figures.
