Sobre life & depression

Weed elevate your serotonin and dopamine in your brain, the chemicals that make you feel happiness or pleasure, so and the extreme short-term weed can sort of feel like an antidepressant. Problem is if you're getting all of your good neurochemicals from marijuana and not activities, your life usually tends to either stay the same or get neglected while you're still feeling happy about it...which is bad...this will start to results in things being even worse for you when you're not high.

So you got to start doing some activities when you're not smoking that still give you your dopamine and serotonin boosts. This is why so many people who are getting sober start exercising. really good exercise makes you feel high because it affects the same chemicals in your brain. But you actually get the added benefit of getting an improved body, and a sense of pride, community, and accomplishment. getting good sleep, eating right, exercise, and getting sunlight are also things that can help regulate your mood and make you feel less depressed...Often times people neglect V's when they're smoking all the time. But also the time that you're going to spend sober can also be put toward things that you really like, things that you value which means you'll get a sense of pride that you may not have had before it can also help with the depression...

usually if you expect to be happy doing the same exact things that you are doing high as a sober person you feel bored out of your f****** mind and depressed, so you might have to look for some new hobbies, pastimes, and pursuits...if you need weed to make an experience better, what your doing probably isn't fun or important enough, so raise the bar. Those passions are different for everybody so find what's important to you and do that.
