Social anxiety : please help with your advice or feedback

  1. I check in, go find a locker, put my headphones in and such and leave my stuff in the locker. I dont remember to bring a lock half the time so usually I'm only leaving my headphone case, phone charger and maybe extra clothes. I dont usually shower or change.

  2. My warmup depends on the day. Usually, I'll do maybe 5 - 10 minutes of cardio, just to get my blood pumping. I'm kinda into that stair machine nowadays. I was scared of it at first (lol) but it's cool.

  3. So, I HATE working out in busy gyms. It's just distracting. But let's say the barbell area is occupied, I like to just do something else nearby so I can keep an eye for an open bench.

  4. Cool down exercises aren't my thing personally. I'm not sure if that's what you're "supposed" to do, but I'd rather spend the time I have working out and I've never really noticed a big difference. Saunas are kinda neat because they help get rid of water retention and help you're muscles relax, but make sure you hydrate well!

  5. No, having people solicite you while working out isn't chill in my book. I would LOVE if my gym had people to correct me when I'm doing stuff wrong. If it were me, I'd take advantage of the free advice and just not join any programs. What are they gonna do, not tell you what you were apparently doing wrong?
