social life?

Thanks for the message. I don't mind. I just found it appalling that some people were so in my face about my "inadequacy". I studied International Relations at another school overseas and I happened to transfer to the major that was closest to IR at Baruch. I think the business school at Baruch is great but the "better students" learn and are forced to memorize and utilize at the work place cannot possibly be that much more superior to a student of any other major as long as the major in question isn't too specialized or irrelevant to the work place. While I do worry that I may not be as mathematically polished as a Zicklin student. I think having a calculator and a wikipedia page can close the gap. I don't need to be an expert on a bell curve or an algorithm if I can understand the gist of it. Just as any business student would still be respected if they knew the concepts of half a history textbook. My guess as to why Zicklin and Baruch students are often complained about in these reddit anonymous posts is two fold. You have usually the students who were in the top third of their classes but either didnt make the cut or didnt have the money to go to top tier schools. With this chip on their shoulders, they have to deal with more of then not shitty administration, that is run by the state which is inefficient, rude and impatient more times than not. Its not hard to see why those who come in to Baruch get lost and turn into unpleasant people.
