What discussion? I haven't seen a single shred of meaningful dialogue of this "issue" aside from a bunch of people shitting on a rich person buying an asset completely commensurate with their well known level of wealth purely because they dislike him due to his politics and their weird parasocial relationships with other streamers who think the aforementioned action was somehow hypocritical because they have no understanding of what socialism is other than some "all rich people are evil and bad" straw man.

Then people rightfully point out that buying something expensive you can easily afford is not some terrible affront to socialism if you didn't amass that wealth via exploitative means. Rinse and repeat for a week of brain dead discussion over a complete non-issue. This extremely dumb drama is just a vector for people who know nothing about socialism to shit on socialism so they never have to engage in a menaingful discussion about changing the current system. Nothing more, nothing less.
