[Socialists] Would doctors be paid even more?

In my thinking, competition comes not just in the goods/services that a 'business' provides, but also in the number of people who are qualified to provide that service.

So, If you have more people who are educated and able to perform the jobs of super high income positions, those positions start becoming more competitive and drives the effective wages down.

So, in some ways, eliminating the middle men will reduce consumer costs while bringing more income directly to the provider, but it will also have the potential to increase the available workforce, which drives down salary.

I don't see that as a problem. Like with any career, there will always be fluctuations for qualified people and an open market can function properly.
