We are not ethereal trans dimensional beings, and we need to accept that we are mostly creates of meat and bone.

I don't see a contradiction between the two. In fact, why can't all living creatures be both? For all we know, we could be said beings who decided to experience extreme limitation, because it's boring having nothing interesting to fight for.

I mean, such a being could create such temporary limitations, just to have fun. That would include total amnesia, so that we're not distracted from the grueling trials we chose to face. There's no way out, unless one commits suicide, but most people don't see any reason.

Just a thought experiment. :)
