It's really not that deep, who cares if people pray or not.
You've really confused what's going on here.
1) No one gives a fuck if people pray.
2) Some people give a fuck when religion is unnecessarily wafted around them.

Can you understand why some people might care though? Can you understand why people have a negative relationship with religion and empathise with views different to your own? What harm does it do, to anyone, to change the OP so it doesn't contain anything to do with religion? Can we be positive without including religion?
You seem to believe your life experiences are what everyone has experienced. You don't seem to have grasped that others have had experiences equally legitimate yet opposite to yours. The fact you cannot see why people don't want religion paraded around them simply indicates it happens frequently in your life and you have found a nonconfrontational way to deal with it. It also indicates a complete lack of ability to empathise with others who do not share your views.
There is a middle ground where all sides are equally happy. The OP isn't it.
Being upset about it is really odd
And what some people find odd is:
Believing in something with absolutely zero objective evidence
Humans wanting to believe there's a purpose and direction to everything we do
Being unable to confront the fact the universe simply does not give a fuck about us or what happens
but that's a discussion for another time.
