Sofia Talouni, a trans female beauty influencer from Turkey but living in Morocco, instructed her hundreds of thousands of followers to use gay dating apps to identify and out gay men, in a country where homosexuality is illegal and violent homophobia is legal.

What you are implying is that Iran is slightly more accepting of transgender people than gay people. They are not. They don’t believe transgenderism exists the way we do - sex change operations are a punishment, and to “fix” gay men so their inclinations are “correct” if a trans person wanted a sex change surgery but the change would result in them being “gay” (ie a straight man who wants to become a woman etc) they certainly wouldn’t be offered one, and they would be punished for crossdressing.

You completely misrepresented the situation as though it’s “they hate gay people but they are more accepting of trans people! They even fund surguries!” and this entirely disregards the point that these surgeries are FORCED. Very few of the people they are forcing sex change operations on are ACTUALLY TRANS. That’s the difference. You mentioned that they do it because it affirms heterosexuality to them but completely failed to mention that the alternative is death or prison. No one is choosing this.
