Solo travelers, what is your creepiest travel story?

Touched down in Casablanca, Morocco at 1am (first mistake) and made it to the hotel by 3am. From the moment I walked in, I couldn't help but feel a sense of uneasiness: the lobby was completely dark, the elevator stopped at multiple floors despite no one waiting, and my room door was slightly open as I was about to insert the room card. Upon opening it (second mistake), I saw a guy immediately get out of his bed in a hostile manner as his gf or wife desperately tried to hold him back. Realizing I was given the wrong room, I slammed the door shut and ran towards the elevator. Thankfully I didn't get chased but I heard the lady scream in an agonizing way as the elevator doors closed. Even though I was given a different room and had originally reserved for 2 nights, I checked out a few hours later. It just wasn't a good sign.
