Instability in one country spreads. There is no such thing as domestic policy in a void, every authoritarian leader is a threat to international instability.

Like above it all boils back down to you guys destroying democracies for national interest. Iran was a democracy and now it isn't. The dictator in Libya was overthrown then the west left and ditched it to it's endless civil war. ISIS rose as a consequence of the Iraqi War.
