Here's why some American Christians vote Republican

Maybe covetousness has something to do with well off conservatives supporting lower taxes

So, someone else something, and the republican wants it, so they choose lower taxes? What does this other person have that the republican wants that they take by lowering taxes? Stress? I'm lost on that one. Is that like fattening them up before you take the thing or something? How does a Republican covet something that they take or try to take by lowering taxes? Perhaps it's worse streets. Republicans covet another towns potholes, so they lower taxes to get some of their own. That's still not coveting because they didn't deprive that other town of potholes.

It could also be that Christians vote Republican because they prefer liberty for themselves and others, give and expect tolerance and freedom of opinion which isn't the same as affirmation and liking, and aren't fear-mongering racist bigots who sometimes insult people under pretext of virtue signaling.

And then there is the matter of racism. Some people vote republican because they hated slavery, the KKK, and the need to explain to their white children why people hate their fathers for no damned reason.
