OP was trying to create a pragmatic interpretation of the spec, which I was debunking in detail. I also offered an advantageous talking point of the spec as opposed to simply shitting on it, like so many other do. I never once implied there was an underlying motive for anyone to play Ret Paladin. In fact, I thought I made it clear that I myself had played Ret in the introduction.
You appear to have missed all the points. I can only assume your ill-thought response is a feeble attempt to cope with the hard reality of consciously being a net negative to your friends when you could do more by simply healing on difficult fights and providing damage in the appropriate, easier, scenarios.
TL:DR - Flex, or be useless when it matters to your allies.
