Some of the most insufferable people are the ones who refuse to grow up

Yeah, I have housemates who I was close to in my first and second years at university, but at the very beginning of my third year, they suddenly started to get weird. There was tension, petty comments and shit attitudes from them towards me, and I would understand if they had told me I had done or said something to them, but they haven't told me, and I genuinely can't think of what I have done wrong.

So a small argument was blown out of proportion by the two main girls who turn everything into a big issue that becomes everybody else's problem, and I just cut ties with them. It's awkward because I still live with them, but I move out tomorrow as I'm finally done with my law degree which is great, and I'm out of that toxic environment. But honestly, the double standards, mental gymnastics and playground politics these two girls live with, just amazes me, and intrigues me. But at this point I'm fully done with it, and I just call everyone out who is being toxic or childish, or act like they need to be back in secondary school, it's embarrassing to hear about it tbh.
