some kids draw for a long time and get good that way. that doesn't mean there are not people that did just have the talent to start drawing because they have better visual memory and imagination. they have better brain structure for drawing.

i could replace drawing with singing too. are you going to argue that every person good at singing had to get lessons and practiced a ton? because there are sooo many people that did not practice at all but just have good imitation skills and can just do it.

just because there are people saying they think they're just bad doesn't mean it's always the case that they're just lazy. it doesn't change anything scientifically. of course you're going to get players who want to make excuses the same way you're going to get players saying they're in elo hell because of their teammates being bad.

i already explained the biology several times but you have reading comprehension problems. since you bring up laziness and personality traits though, i'd like to point out that these are also affected by biology/genes. also i never said people can't climb with worse biology. i'm saying it can be significantly harder or easier because of biology. just because you have some players that want to use this as an excuse doesn't discredit the scientific reality.

the way you counter people giving these excuses is not to say that talent doesn't exist though. you first have to go through verifying that they're doing the things they are supposed to be doing. then after they do this but still cannot improve, then it will take actually coaching them because they probably do have some deficiencies in the learning process or pattern recognition. what you're doing is you're making it like for every single case you have someone claiming they're doing the right things but hardstuck, they just don't count or don't exist somehow. textbook case of being willfully ignorant because you have an ideology that you want to be true regardless of the facts. are you communist by any chance?
