Some questions about lore

  1. That's a weird question. It's like asking how many US States there are on Earth.
  2. Possibly. It's not entirely clear, as Akavir is deliberately mysterious. Maybe a race of Vampricic Snake People literally Ate all the humans, maybe that is a metaphor for a larger empire of snake-like people absorbing more "familiar" humans.
  3. It froze, both physically and in time.
  4. Yes.
  5. Probably.
  6. You are really into Draugr, huh?
  7. It's more Dungeon design than lore. It's there so that you don't need to treck back through an empty dungeon doing nothing to get out. It's not about lore.
  8. Oh my flipping goodness, enough with the Draugr. Probably not. I don't believe Moths were a part of Nordic worship, but Moths are one of the animals on the claws.
  9. Because they wanted King Borgas to be a zombie and Draugr were Skyrim Zombies.
  10. Could you provide a source on that? I'm not finding anything on UESP about "The Kai" and that's not a great sign.
  11. They fucked around with The Earthbones and The Heart of Lorkhan and disappeared. Either they were erased from existence or possibly became the body of Numidium. There are a few possibilities. I go with erased from existence, myself.
  12. Because Reasons. Don't question the Psijics.
  13. No. That is not what the towers do. They support the physical world. Keep it stable and stuff. The towers haven't necessarily been destroyed, either. The Snow Tower is just fine. The idea that a civil war in Skyrim "Destroyed" it is nonsense. White-Gold-Tower is also fine. It's stone was fucked with, via the destruction of the amulet of kings, but the specifics of how it was fucked with ensured that it's purpose was made permanent and immutable. Thus Martin's sacrifice ended the Oblivion invasion and shut all the gates.

Of course this also assumes that unsealing Lorkhan would destroy the world, which is arguably false. Lorkhan is connected to Nirn as a physical place. Thus the taunt of his heart "But when Trinimac and Auriel tried to destroy the Heart of Lorkhan it laughed at them. It said, "This Heart is the heart of the world, for one was made to satisfy the other.""

Lorkhan is dead and or mantled by Talos.

Not sealed.
