Some spirituality feels fake as fuck to me and I want to believe but can't fully bring myself to do it

Hey there friend! Well written post, I see where youre coming from. Largely, I feel the same way, I'm very skeptical & rely on logic over emotions (usually) to rule my life. When i saw an entity, it was real for me at the time and the question is: Does that make it real? What even is "real?" ....That being said; I had a realization I would like to share with you.

I am an atheist, I value science and research but now I also am "spiritual." I fully believe that science and "spirituality" not only can co exist, but that its the only way for them to exist at all.

I realized that even if god, chakras, etc wasn't real, believing in their power can help me change things about myself as well as reassess how I interact with the world around me. In example, It's the idea that rose quartz is for you to self heal, more as a reminder for me than an actual "magic" that the stone has.

Science helps us explain the physical world, spirituality (sometimes) helps us understand our interpretation of it. It's important not not let your spirituality cloud your logic (Ie: You can "believe" in a god and still think evolution is a legit science, which it is.) But also, don't think rocks have any actual "magical" ability because thats silly.

We GIVE things meaning. As humans, we have that power. It is likely the most power you have in your life. You can choose to give meaning to whatever you want. For me, burning incense for aromatherapy helps with anxiety, the rose quarts reminds me to love myself and meditating on my chakras helps me deduce what parts of my life need improvement. Psychedelics, Spirituality & Mindfulness Meditation are all tools to be used to better improve ourselves.

Find what works for you! I personally have been studying Shamanism as a way to use Psych realizations in daily life application. Shamanism is the root of psychedelic nature, and for most of human history up until the Church largely killed everyone of the "pagans." Shaman were the medicine women*/men of their villages, and many used types of psychedelics. (*Hence the whole "witch" thing.)

I'm not saying the spirituality is the key to unlocking their full potential, but it defiantly feels that way for me.

Then again, I might just be a trippy hippie haha
