Some suggestions for Dying Light 2

The first idea isn't bad; it would even make it so that survivors in multiplayer cannot be safe in the water from the Night Hunter.

The second idea would be cool; I would love to have boats and sail the open-world waters.

The third suggestion is a brilliant idea for a new setting; I haven't seen that many games with Venice adaptations.

I haven't thought about #4 though; is is possible to create and destroy safe houses with the latest Chrome Engine? Some of those roofs in the game are quite fragile and there's no building functionality.

For #5, it would be a great change of pace through some of the gameplay, but then the developers may have to include a "mission failed; you were seen" option and change the checkpoint system so you can do it again. That might turn off those who want to rush through.

Idea #6 could be great as Dying Light does introduce a school area with supplies in several classrooms. Dead Space 2 did it very well with their elementary schools, and damn was that scary as hell.

7 could be a great game-changer. Instead of melee enemies attempting to throw knives at you from a distance, they could be programmed like the Virals that climb and jump on buildings.

8 would be great for completion hunters rather than looking at a walk-through in the Steam overlay just to see how many collectibles that you have. I still haven't done that and have had played 180 hours since its launch.

Here are my new ideas:

  • Being able to scrap weapons for parts and/or permanently dispose of unwanted items from your inventory. Same thing goes with looting weapons off enemies; give a button option to loot and scrap for parts.

  • Another idea is when you retrieve your items after they were taken from your stash, you receive the same items that you had last time. I find it annoying to go through my inventory again and again because I have so many weapons and items to sort through.

  • The next one can introduce the world of Harran and Old Town before the outbreak occurred, and explain how Rais became the "man" that he is, and how about explain how Brecken became a parkour instructor—maybe explain his sudden [Spoiler](/s "disappearance after you are halfway into the campaign and reached Old Town with the help of the Saviors?"]

*Armor-piercing weapons would be a huge bonus against any enemies that are donned with armor, but getting those weapons and ammo may require players to—let's just say—beat the game on the hardest difficulty.

  • For PvP, have it so once a multiplayer invasion starts, another survivor cannot join that survivor's session as it could potentially turn the battle around.

This is all I have to say for now. I would be all over this game if they made another one, especially if it focused on the backstory of previous characters.
