If that's how you choose to live, go for it, but anger is a valid part of the emotional experience even if it isn't a "primary emotion" (this sort of labeling of emotion into "primary" and "secondary" is, to be honest, highly oversimplified and probably inaccurate anyhow).

And there's irony in your stance that anger is "unnecessary." That sort of thinking implies an attitude of blame toward people who feel anger. You can deal with your own anger or lack thereof however you please, but you don't have the right or power to tell other people that they're wrong to feel or express anger or any other emotion.
