Someone came to my door wanting to give me "papers" but the police have no record of it

I have legally not owned or held any assets here for nearly 10 years. Another 20 would be OK and honestly, the few counties which I'd move to wouldn't care about anything that took place here either. -- It really would be a futile effort to sue me.

But most importantly, I cannot imagine anyone doing so at the moment. I'm again, kind of a loner and keep to myself.

To give you an understanding of my mentality, the state here once tried to double-bill me for excise-tax. Now I knew I paid the tax and even had the receipt, but as the old saying goes, you can't fight city hall. Except I did and learned how to rent a home, get a job, credit card, overseas account, leave the country, get citizenship overseas, and return back to America with an expired ID and it's still expired, just because I've gotten used to it and see no need. -- And I did all of this just on principle.

Really, to sue me is a waste of someone's time and money.

The only reason why the "extra" excise-tax eventually got paid, was someone I knew took care of it, despite my objection (they still think they were doing me a "favor"). But I continue to live just fine with my expired ID.
