While this is stupid (where the hell is he going to sell these things?), my friend is a cop & they busted a guy for growing pot at his house.

Instead of charging him, they just brought him down to the station & explained that its illegal & they were destroying the plants etc. Maybe it was a scare tactic or something, but they wanted him to get the idea at least, or they probably didn't want the paperwork, I'm not really sure.

Dude left the station, walked around the corner into an alleyway, and sparked up a joint. Thing is, the chiefs office was right above that & his window was open. Since they were being cool about this & all, they didn't really search him thoroughly.
