I owned a DS and a PSP before. I don’t know if this works with the 3DS but some websites people used to upload their DS and PSP saves (usually completed but sometimes halfway through) (cheatcc.com is the one I think I used). So, you could buy the games again and download someone’s save that was close to where you were!

Obviously the saved profiles are more important to you.

I would also post on Craigslist “missed connections” and whatever other subs craiglist has to offer the “finder” of your wallet a reward. Sounds stupid to have to pay to get your stuff back, but if the thief comes across your post on Craigslist, it is obviously going to be easier for them to return the wallet for a reward than sell the games. And you’ll get your games back. And that person gets to, in some way, repent of their theft. If they’re honest they would refuse the money but obviously you can’t expect that from a thief.
