fair enough yeah. i agree a lot of people who prefer classic act like it's superior to retail in every way. for them maybe it is but objectively they're just different and people want different things out of a game. personally my favorite version of wow is tbc because that's when they revamped the honor system. in classic the only way to get rewarded through pvp is honor so you have to farm bgs for hours on hours usually in a premade to get to the higher ranks. so what happens is if you ever want to do pug vs pug bgs which i find the most fun you need to go against like 2 premades for every pug you face. just due to the hours the hardcore rankers put in despite them being like 10% of the people queueing for bgs. but then for other people tbc is a worse version of vanilla. they don't like flying or outlands making a lot of azeroth irrelevant or whatever reason. it's mostly just subjective at the end of the day.
