Someone at work kept touching my stuff, so I left a note

When I lived in a dorm room with a roommate, she would take my food. Normally I was alright with it, a few of those smaller bags of chips here and there or a fruit snack pack wasn't going to kill me. Annoying, sure, but I could deal with it. Hazards of sharing a room.

However, I kept a jar of nutella to satisfy my chocolate needs. Normally I'd take a few small spoonfuls and put them on graham crackers, but sometimes I'd double dip with spoons. I normally put it to the back of my food stash and you would have had to bend down to look under the dorm bed and move the rest of the food and a pile of sweaters out of the way to see it.

I came in early one day and there she was: dipping a spoon in my nutella. She wouldn't have been able to find it unless she was snooping around my stuff.

I became the most petty roommate ever, down to keeping count of snack bags and hiding my remote in my underwear drawer (she found it). Eventually I started fighting fire with fire and pettiness became a full on war with a roommate contract and me being as annoying as possible until she changed rooms at the end of the semester.

Don't screw around with my comfort food.
