Lots of reasons. I do a lot of outdoor stuff and I like to conceal carry then, more for animals than people. I deer hunt with a .350 legend. I'm nostalgic for Beretta 92s and ARs because of my 9 years in the infantry where I first had an M16 and then, later, an M4.

Mostly, I feel that disarming the working class is a terrible idea. Why should we give the state a monopoly on the use of force and violence? It's barely been over a year since the previous president attempted to overthrow our democracy. He has a good chance of getting re-elected in two years. That alone should have everyone who isn't deluded at least kinda sorta recognizing the value of the 2nd amendment.

What compels you to have them?
