Something Interesting

Of course he got lucky dude! His Dad just so happens to own an invisibility cloak that he leaves to Harry, saving his life on countless occasions. He almost dies at least three times per book, meets the most powerful Dark wizard in history in one form or another no less than 7 times by the end of the series and survives, regardless of the fact that said evil bastard is hell bent on ending Harry at all costs, and embedded a piece of his own soul inside of Harry, tormenting the poor kid constantly. So he's also incredibly unlucky, probably the worst luck anyone's seen, no contest, but when it comes down to it, no one does 'simply won't friggin die' like Harry, and a good portion of that is down to, as McGonogall(?) said, 'sheer dumb luck'. Would be a pretty short series without it, I think...
