Seen too many people end up in our office over the years with stories of how they landed themselves in a relationship that destroyed their life and validated the experience thinking it was a twinflame experience. One of these people recently developed thyroid problems and adrenal cortisol issues, lost literally all of their savings in the bank, lost their job and is now living in a homeless shelter with govt assistance. Their so called twinflame however is doing pretty well. We determined their twinflame has borderline personality disorder, which might have been partially to blame for how toxic their relationship was. The person in question is still facing trauma from the relationship years later. And now, this is one of hundreds of experiences of the same. But not all twinflame cases we get are about being victimized. Some are about very unhealthy obsessive attachments, stalking and believing they are in a spiritual love connection with someone whos clearly not into them anymore and has moved on. Some patients even believe that their twinflame is a famous celebrity. Might sound crazy but its all very true.
