I see the Anti-Cheat thing paraded around a bit.

What’s going to be the excuse after they add it and cheats still happen?

“Everyone knows Anti-Cheat doesn’t stop it.”

Because that’s a true statement.

If players can run cheats on their PC in official tournaments for games and almost not get caught it’s a bit disengenous to say Anti-Cheat is the problem.

The problem is that PC makes it so easy to cheat and they’re bringing it into a closed system that hasn’t had cheats run wild in a couple of console generations.

It’s really frustrating. And so are responses like this.

Pc players can point out every flaw of every console, complain that they’re playing with kids or bad console players. But heaven forbid we bring up that one piece of baggage PC gaming brings with it, that we on console haven’t had to deal with much since the PS3 and 360 era.

Can’t we all just agree that it sucks, and it ruins games, and it’s a primarily PC issue they bring to crossplay?

I’m not for splitting the communities. I just want to see PC players own up to the baggage and issues they bring to the crossplay space. Because it’s getting frustrating seeing them refuse to acknowledge it across multiple games with crossplay.
