Something tells me this kid wants to go home

No. This is so wrong. You don’t fucking train your kids like you’d train a dog, that’s dehumanizing. No amount of bodily harm, including a pinch or an ear pull, is the answer here. Hell, this is even outdated for dogs! Most trainers say ignore all negative behaviors and just use positive reinforcements. Parents have NO RIGHT to lay a hand on their children. This is how people grow up and have unresolved issues - you’re not conditioning your kid to not do that behavior, you’re conditioning your kid to fear you every time you get close. Have fun trying to make that relationship last once they become an adult. And just for kicks and giggles, would you like it as an adult if someone pulled your ear because you did something wrong? No? Then what makes it any different for a kid? How Everyone Gets Pavlov Wrong
