No real advice, just feeling similar to how you feel lately.

My ex-husband is circumcised, when our son was born I left the decision up to him. I figured he has a penis, I don’t and he had strong feelings because of a very traumatizing experience his nephew went through with his growing incorrectly and having to be removed at a much older age.

Now we’re divorced, he’s not allowed anywhere near me and has had zero contact with our son since he was very small. My new husband- the man my son sees as his dad is not circumcised. We’re having another child and I’m very worried my son is going to notice daddy (and if next baby is a boy) is different and resent me for doing this to him/taking away a part of him or making him like our abuser.

I guess I’m really just telling you this to let you know you’re not the only woman with regrets and bad feelings about this.. You sound like a wonderful, loving mother and I truly hope both you and your son can move forward from this.
