They've already shown the young female mage with an embarrassingly short skirt so I'm honestly not all that hopeful. I fully expect to cringe my way through the game if I even bother with it at all.

Are you talking about the girl at 1:40 in the trailer? It seems more like a dress with slits not unlike Sonya. Can't really tell the age with the PS2 like graphics but hopefully she'll actually be an adult. I would say new Switch game has more potential for cringe just by virtue of having an Avatar who is a teacher (hello unethical Teacher student romance) and I wouldn't put it past IS to include those types of relationships..
