Bottom line-there needs to be more avenues to get etheric light. With every non exotic weapon and every piece of armor needing it there just is not enough to make things happen. Many of you are probably like me in that you have 3 characters- each one of them carrying an assortment of weapons and many copied- I didnt want to have to go the vault or the app every time I switch characters so I have 3 Icebreakers, MIDAs, Abyss Defiant, Fangs, etc. You add to the mix all of the new weapons we are getting in drops and it becomes clear that there isnt going to be enough etheric to enjoy the game. I did 3 nightfalls, and 3 PoE's- 28's & 32's- I got one piece of etheric light. There needs to be multiple avenues-- an exchange system for starters. I dont care if its 25 ascendants and 1000 glimmer, or 5000 glimmer per, or 100 motes of light or what- but there needs to be something. Additionally- it needs to be used to promote other areas of the game. Do you really do the daily heroic everyday?- I doubt it. There isnt any point- 2 blue engrams? who cares. And what about public events?- we got shards & energy for those but with no etheric available people will not be motivated to participate - the wolfpack thing is a good idea because you have a chance at a key for PoE. But if PE's had a chance to get an etheric as a reward, you would have 500 people on patrol looking to get in on the game and that's what it needs. I have grinded this game- got 2 Gjallahorns to show for it and a lot of days missing from my life. But I'll be damned if I am going to continue to grind for the next 5 or 6 months to the next release just to get enough etheric to get my stuff maxed out and then go through the same thing again when The Taken King releases.
