SOON!

Hi, I understand about safety. I'm a really, really big, wide dude with a really, really big, wide beard so nobody's going to mess with me (even though I'm easier to take down than a toddler.)

But if you just don't want to go to a concert alone, I can understand that. However, Radiohead is not like other bands. I believe everyone should deliberately go see Radiohead alone at least once. Don't even take pictures. It's the most meaningful and emotional experience. It is this strange place, you are the only one in there with the band -- they are only playing for you and you alone. And at the same time, you are somehow a part of the band in some capacity. And also at the same time, you are somehow one with 20.000 other people.

It's very intense, and very personal.

I guess, if you go by yourself you will "immerse your soul in love" I know that sounds cheezy but it's true. It's like a burial but not into dark, into light and warmth and received into love. Going by yourself to a Radiohead concert is so the opposite of alone, it is this paradox and I don't really know how to describe the swirl of feeling when you go by yourself and give yourself over to the spirit like that. It's this seperate entity from the band and the audience and you, and all of them feed into it and into you.

OK I'm drunk but if you can find any way to go at some point in your life, go see Radiohead alone.

(Also to do alone: a movie, a cruise, a vacation to a secluded place.)
