Sorry but this needed to be said, once again

I started writing stories based on my daydreams. It eventually became habit for me to turn the oddball scenarios into functioning storylines. Even better that I will dream the same thing over and over again. I can pick up where I left off and keep details straight.

I do still tend to make faces when dreaming in public, and sometimes get caught whispering to myself as I go through dialogue, but most people laugh it off when I say that I'm working on dialogue for a story. That has become my default explanation, whether true or not.

Anyway, all that to say, sometimes I do enjoy the daydreaming. I have favorite stories I go back to, and the good ones help pull me out of the not-so-good ones. So I definitely identify with your point #3, turning a weakness into a strength.
