That isn't the point of being able to arm yourself. The point is to force them to carry out their actions in the light of day. Yes, there was some evidence the western world was getting about the camps and what was happening. However, if you think jews being murdered in the streets trying to defend themselves from government tyranny would have elicited a more serious international response then you don't understand humans. Also, its not your luxury to say that they wouldn't have been able to produce a meaningful defense as if that somehow makes what did happen the preferable outcome. That's fucking reprehensible to say.
