I can't give you any stories that sound like Salo

But I've witnessed sexual harassment in sadistic, humiliating ways, where managers would torment and torture employees so they would become their little servants. Had two (female!) managers try this on me. Saw it happen in other departments, too. Gender regardless.

Witnessed character assassinations just for the fun of it, with gleeful laughs when the innocent, hardworking talented person would quit in tears. Watched managers literally steal the work of other people and pass it off as their own, and see them gang up on that employee, who worked their ass off, and watched them quit in disgrace after being ostracized.

Lies, manipulation, drama, theft, fraud, corruption, a complicit Human Resources and executives. Utterly, utterly gross incompetence that's blamed on underlings who then have to work 90 hour weeks to make up for it while they watch their managers go home early. Being a talented, hardworking, honest employee in these environments is a total death sentence.

Watched one manager who totally fucked up my department with her sadism and incompetence move up the corporate latter at another company after she quit on the eve of a lawsuit. Being manipulative, deceitful, cunning, and totally charming is all it takes to succeed at the corporate level, apparently.

So on and so forth. It's relevant in the career world, but it's not like I saw anyone get raped in a conference room. Though I wouldn't doubt that happening.

Once I get out of my current job I am never working for a major corporation ever again. These places are like those twisted boarding schools you read about that have bodies buried in the basement.
