Sources: Fox News Has Decided Bill O’Reilly Has to Go

Oh it is for many reasons, but she's not entirely wrong, and it really took Trump winning the election after those specific comments that really made it bubble to the surface, at least for me. I say "recent" sexual assault because that wasn't the first.. of even that year. I can't tell you how many times I've been grabbed and groped without my consent. I can't tell you how many male bosses have made crude comments about my looks and my body. I can't tell you how many times they've in turn said worse things about me to colleagues when my back is turned. I can't tell you if I know a single woman who HASN'T experienced sexual harassment or assault. I can tell you how many times I've felt inclined to report it: 0. Even as Hillary won (and I was far more in her corner than most in my demo), people tried to excuse the behavior of her husband. We put another offender in the highest office of the land. My mom wasn't wrong on that. We may not have enough evidence to win in court, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't ingrained in our culture, to the extent even victims excuse it (even I have a hard time labeling unwanted groping as sexual assault, even though that's precisely what it is). This shit is going to keep happening unless we fucking speak up.

Sorry for the rant, but it's exactly what I mean when I say how visceral those comments were and what impact it had when it was not only excused, but rewarded.
