South African woman gets killed by her abusive boyfriend. Feminists go on a #MenAreTrash crusade instead of taking responsibility for their poor choices in men.

This is something I have to keep reminding myself of, and is very well explained here. Women seem to be evolutionarily designed to weed out fake alphas. They don't realise they're doing it, it's deep in their programming.

Ever noticed the amount of hatred PUAs get from most women? They're "creeps" and "losers" and "pathetic" and "rapey". I never used to understand the strength of this reaction. Surely a strong, independent woman would see through their silly attempts to "neg" and get on with her day, maybe even viewing them with some mild pity?

Then it clicked. Superficially, the PUA movement is all about being a fake alpha. All the negging and "opening sets" and peacocking and so on is all about giving yourself the appearance of high social status, even if it's just for one night. (I've got nothing against PUAs by the way, especially if it's a gateway to genuine self improvement.)

Women are instinctively repulsed by the idea of a fake alpha, in a way that is difficult for a man to fully understand. The idea of a man feigning a higher social status than he really has genuinely disgusts them.
