SP4 worth upgrading from SP3?

I actually bought my SP3 i5 256GB SSD with 8 GB of RAM right when the SP4 came out because it made the SP3 cheaper. Many people claim the device to be extremely loud and claim it has heat issues but so far I haven't had any bad experiences. However, I do always wear headphones when doing work at home so I might not actually hear the fan kicking in. It never goes off while taking notes though.

I don't play games so that kinda limits usage for high performance tasks. I do use a lot of Chrome tabs for research purposes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), it can handle up to 50 without the fan turning on and after that a 100 with the fan on without any noticeable lag. Once you have 100 tabs and are trying to multitask you notice some slow down. The device also gets warm, it's not uncomfortable but it's there. This is what it looks like with about 75 tabs, a couple word documents and PDF's (I counted up to 60 then gave up on the rest) CPU actually fluctuates between 8 and about ~36%, not sure what that means though. I closed everything and this is what it looks like. I also do some light coding on this thing, I use Eclipse.

One thing I do notice is the unresponsiveness of OneNote which happens maybe once a day which frustrates me for 2 minutes. I'm not sure if it is because the thing has so many files in it and I'm doing so much in a short amount of time or if it's a Windows 10 bug that can be fixed through software. Also I'm not sure if SP4 has better scaling but the scaling in SP3 is noticeably shit in some places. The desktop with this wallpaper looks sick though, in my opinion.

I did purchase the SP4 typecover which works beautifully. One thing that happens pretty often is the cursor disappears only in Chrome, I can see it otherwise but Chrome doesn't see it unless I restart Chrome and normally occurs when Chrome is open and the typecover is attached. Other than that the typecover is amazing, I got the black one but since it gets white dust on it pretty easily I will be returning it for the Teal one.

Sidenote: I got the device in Canada for about $1400 after tax and the additional 3 year warranty and typecover cost me a total of $1950. I hope the device malfunctions in 2 years so I get the new one, which I heard does happen. I don't think of it as fraud because that's why you buy extended warranty in the first place. Obviously I'm not going to ruin it on purpose but one can hope.
