Fun to always read comments from people that really have no earthly idea wtf you’re talking about.

It’s easy to read your comment and say “yeah that sounds wholesome and logical so I agree with it” but idiots like you have never had imminent domain affect their land. So let’s use a pipeline or wind turbine example on a cattle ranch here in Texas.

Here’s what actually happens: -a plot of your land is taken by imminent domain -you are paid for the land, you’re correct here -pipes or wind turbines aren’t built overnight, often times it can be a year or more -you are now forced to give access to your gates for unknown construction workers to come on your property. -they will make a giant dirt road to get to the job site, hopefully not trashing any grazing land -you will see gates left open -you will find drunk construction workers at night bringing girls to cruise the property with -some will come out to shoot a deer or pig without your permission -trash will appear everywhere because political correctness aside, these are often low class construction workers that don’t give a shit about your property -these red neck workers that cruise your property at night have no problem leaving gates open between pastures letting cattle wander wherever they feel like.

If you have zero experience with imminent domain you should keep your moronic and uninformed opinions to yourself before you infect other people with your idiotic perspective on a subject you clearly have zero knowledge of.
