Spanish taxis block roads in 'anti-Uber' protest

The last part, is the big reason why they are having to do this.

The law in america is that, Taxi is different from “ride hail” because of the app. But most Taxi companies have their own app. The federal govt allows uber to charge in advance while Taxi cannot charge until the customer actually gets inside. This is huge if uber and their nasty tactics come in and start putting all kinds of fake requests, they were accused of doing so by lyft. All while the Taxi industry is regulated in terms of background and drug test and the ride hail companies are not; they claim they do it but there is no overwatch in uber so the uber drivers practically can get away with almost anything especially if the car is unmarked.
